The lack of interest I have in Americas politics is more probably the reason why I’m asking ‘who the F*&^ is Ron Paul’. My lack of interest in American Politics was cemented a long time ago when Bush was re-elected (Smart move people). I can only guess the mass rat race that is the lead up to the election has begun in the US – or has it been running for some time?

What’s my problem – The internet, a word wide source of information, is flooded with American Political crap, and digg is one of the worst offenders. Ron Paul does this, Ron Paul does that, Ron Paul saved a kiddy from a burning building (no disrespect to the people of California).

Is he seriously this popular, or is the powerhouse of a political party he’s with spamming online news sites with Pro Ron Paul advertisements

What’s even worse is he’s now infecting my brand new “Digg Bigspy” screen saver with massive “Ron Paul” in huge letters! Right now I have “Students for Ron Paul Goes Live! 179”. ARUGH!

Australia is coming up to an federal election, and our news services (print, radio, TV and YouTube(!)) have been flooded with the usual crap banter, falls promises and baby hugging – but I can’t stay I’ve seen one article about Little Johnny Howard or Union lap boy Kevin Rudd (can you see who’ll receive my vote) here on dig.

I know this article isn’t going to achieve anything apart from some heated flaming from US citizens who are behind Mr. Paul, but for all the people in the rest of the word who are sick and bloody tired of seeing “Ron Paul” splashed all over our famed news and feeds sites. Digg it and Digg it good!

I can assure you this isn’t being pushed by Ron Paul’s party. Ron Paul’s party hates him lol. And a lot of people hate what the republicans have become. Ron Paul is simply put the most logically speaking republican and one of the only candidates with the voting record to prove he is telling the truth. An honest politician is something that is so unusual that it has sparked political passion that hasn’t been seen in decades.

Paul fans use social sites to get his message out because our national news networks refuse to give him his share of time speaking to the American people about America’s worst health problems– foreign debt, taxes, fiat money, inflation, preemptive wars, loss of liberties, and government sponsored monopolies/cartels.

Jamie if you did a little research you might find that a Ron Paul president won’t just help America– I truly believe it will help the world. (No more nation policing)

I can see there is great passion for this guy, but seriously, the amount of material that’s making it’s way onto digg about it is border-line, if not excessive spam.

Can Ron Paul help Australia? If not, then there is no need for research. IMO

I’m an American conservative, and a close follower of American politics. Ron Paul has no real chance at becoming president. He’s like the conservative/libertarian version of Howard Dean, if you know who he is. And to my friend from South African who posted a comment just before me, the war in Iraq is not imperial. If you really think that, then you need to quit reading propaganda and adjust your thinking to a global 21st century. Currently, you’re thinking like a 19th century European.
